For the initial roll out, the telecom operator is providing 5G connectivity in 4 Indian cities- Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, and Varanasi. Jio users who live in the above mentioned cities will get 5G connectivity on their 5G enabled phones in a phased manner. Jio has also assured its users that they don't have to get a new 5G SIM as the current 4G SIM will support 5G connectivity. But what about the 5G plans?
Well, if you have received the 5G connectivity on your Jio SIM, then your 5G smartphone will automatically get upgraded to the Jio 5G Welcome Offer. Under this 5G offer, Jio users can enjoy unlimited 5G data with up to 1 Gbps. But the welcome offer is only valid for the users who have an active base plan of Rs 239 or higher on their prepaid or postpaid SIMs.
" All Jio True 5G customers who are invited for the Jio Welcome Offer, can enjoy UNLIMITED 5G Data with speeds up to 1 Gbps. This will work only if the Jio customer has a valid active base plan of Rs 239 or higher for prepaid and all postpaid users," Jio states in its official statement.

These Jio postpaid plans will offer free 5G data with up to 1Gbps speed. Along with that you can also enjoy free OTT benefits and stream your favorite movies or series with 5G speed.

Jio Rs 399 postpaid plan
Along with the 5G network and up to 1Gbps high-speed data, this plan will offer 100 SMS a day, unlimited voice calls, and Netflix, Amazon Prime, and Disney+ Hotstar subscriptions.
Jio Rs 599 postpaid plan
This postpaid plan offers a free subscription to Netflix, Amazon Prime, and Disney+ Hotstar along with unlimited voice calls, 100 SMS per day, and an extra Jio SIM.
Jio Rs 799 postpaid plan
Under this postpaid plan, Jio offers unlimited voice calls and 100 SMS a day and the free subscriptions to Netflix, Amazon Prime, and Disney+ Hotstar.
Jio Rs 999 postpaid plan
The postpaid plans offers 3 Jio sims under the family plan, unlimited voice calls and 100 SMS per day and the complimentary subscriptions to Netflix, Amazon Prime and Disney+ Hotstar.
Jio Rs 1,499 postpaid plan
The postpaid plan offers subscriptions to Netflix, Amazon Prime and Disney+ Hotstar. Along with that the plan also includes international calls in selected cities and unlimited voice calls and 100 SMS per day for Indian networks.
