BCCI president Sourav Ganguly was admitted to the Woodlands hospital in Kolkata on Saturday after he complained of chest pain while working out at his home gym.
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) president Sourav Ganguly spent an "uneventful night" in the hospital on Saturday, had light dinner and is "presently afebrile", according to the latest update. He tested negative for COVID-19 and will undergo a routine ECG (electrocardiogram) test on Sunday morning.
Sourav Ganguly underwent angioplasty on Saturday after being rushed to the hospital due to chest pain. The former India captain was exercising on a tread mill at his home gym when he complained of chest pain.
The hospital said tests showed he had suffered a mild heart attack and the popular former cricketer had blockages in three coronary arteries. Jay Shah, secretary of the BCCI, confirmed the development and added that Ganguly was in stable condition.

He presented in Woodlands emergency yesterday at 1pm with chest discomfort, heaviness of head, vomitting and a spell of dizziness while performing physical excercise in the home gymnasium at around 11am

Echocardiography- Mild inferior wall hypokinesia
Comorbidity- no known comorbidities
