Aaditya Thackeray of Shiv Sena To Begin 4,000-KM Jan Ashirwaad Yatra Today Ahead of Maharashtra Assembly Elections 2019, To Thank Voters For Lok Sabha Polls

Yuva Sena President Aaditya Thackeray is set to kick off Jan Ashirwaad Yatra to thank people for their support and to reach out voters who voted for the party in 2019 Lok Sabha Elections in Maharashtra. The Yatra will begin from Jalgaon on Wednesday.
Mumbai, July 18: Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray’s son and Yuva Sena President Aaditya Thackeray is set to kick off Jan Ashirwaad Yatra to thank people for their support and to reach out voters who voted for the party in 2019 Lok Sabha Elections in Maharashtra. The Yatra will begin from Jalgaon on Wednesday. Apart from thanking voters, Aaditya will also try to connect with more people ahead of Assembly elections in the state, which is scheduled in later this year.
The multi-phase Yatra will cover around 4000 km. During the trip, the Thackeray scion will meet farmers and listen to their issues. He will also meet local Sena workers and hold discussions with youth. The yatra will begin from Jalgaon today. Next, Thackeray is slated to visit Malegaon on July 19, following which he will be going Nashik (July 20) and Nashik rural (July 21). Sena leader Priyanka Chaturvedi, who had quit the Congress in April, said, "Aditya Thackeray to take out ‘Jan Ashirwad Yatra’ to thank people for their support, to seek their blessings for upcoming elections." "The Yatra is also to win the trust of those who might have not voted for us in the past," she added.
